Ok, I know its a kid film, but truth be told I really enjoyed this film. It was cute, and quirky, and I totally dig the CG animation of the chipmunks. Also doesn't hurt that one of the chipmunks is voiced by one of my favorite actors Matthew Gray Gubler.
What killed me, was the actor who plays Dave is the same actor who plays Earl in "My Name is Earl." I actually preferred him as Dave, as I don't get redneck, backwoods humor.
I'm psyched they're making a sequel. This had me laughing, and cheering for the furry little guys. Plus Simon is my favorite chipmunk by far. Love anyone that is bespeckled. Plus Matthew Gray Gubler is the voice of Simon = Win!
